John Lennon is perhaps the most famous of the Beatles which was formed in 1960-1970 and was one of the most influential rock musicians of all time. Their songs continue to inspire others and have shaped the music industry. One of my favourite songs is ‘Here comes the sun’ from the Abbey Road album in 1969, it’s very upbeat and catchy. I wanted to capture his likeness and I wanted to focus on all the details to the curls in his hair or his glasses, it was trial and error and I spent a long time drawing him but I’m very happy with the final result.
