Terms & Conditions
Payment:
To commission a portrait, a non-refundable deposit must be paid in full before the drawing of the portrait begins. An estimated completion date will be provided and agreed upon consultation. Items are shipped within 3-7 working days upon completion.
The price of the commission is based on the size and detail of the drawing. This will be agreed upon and further stipulated in the contract agreement between yourself and Tia.
Full payments must be received before the commission is posted to the customer. Payment can be made via BACS or Paypal.
Shipping:
All orders are shipped securely and you will receive a tracking number. If the item is a gift, it can be shipped directly to the recipient upon request. Packages are insured in case of damage whilst in transit. Commissions are placed within thick cardboard sleeves for protection and all prints are rolled and placed within tubes to ensure safe delivery.
Cancellations:
A non-refundable deposit must be paid prior to the agreed start date of a commission. Should you wish to cancel your order, you have 3 working days to do so and should you wish to cancel, production will cease and your deposit will kept. Once production has begun, full final payment must be received on completion, prior to shipping. Failure to provide full final payment may result in legal action.
Changes and Rejection of Finished Portrait:
On receiving an approved portrait, clients have 7 days to contact me about any required changes. If the portrait needs returning for alterations the client must cover the necessary shipping charges both ways. Clients will be updated throughout production.
Damage in Transit:
Portraits are packaged securely, however, in the unlikely event that damage occurs, please send a photo of the damaged artwork immediately. The artwork must be returned to me and a new portrait will be drawn at no extra cost. These orders will be prioritised.
Please note that damage in transit isn’t the responsibility of Tia but instead that of the courier and therefore items are non-refundable.
Pre-production client requirements:
Around 2-6 images must be sent in advance to provide the best possible outcomes for the portrait, the more photos the better. Blurred, distorted or damaged images may result in an inaccurate reproduction. Images must be sent digitally, physical copies will not be accepted.
Prints:
Whilst every care has been taken to assure accuracy of reproduction for prints according to the original piece, the artist cannot guarantee 100% likeness due to scanning settings, individual monitor/screen presents.
Custom charges and import fees are dependent on the final destination of the artwork. Custom fees are based on taxes, duties and import. This fee is not included in the shipping price provided, these fees are solely responsible of the client.
